The iDovos account is established as an extension of the pre-existing relationships you\u00a0already have with your banks, credit card companies, etc….It functions as a tool which\u00a0leverages into your hands the ability to control the availability of registered assets, and\u00a0communicate this real-time to second-party asset providers and verification services\u00a0such as those listed above. As such, you will soon be able to establish an account\u00a0through participating asset providers carrying iDovos as a personal identity\u00a0management service offering.<\/p>\n

In the meantime…<\/span><\/h2>\n

Mantissa continues its dialogue with identity information processors in both the private\u00a0as well as the public sector, in an effort to focus greater attention on the need to \u00a0bring\u00a0about change in the way identity information is protected. Their participation is\u00a0invaluable in the effort to transfer the power of identity management to the \u00a0individual. \u00a0However, as is so often the case, this change can be slow in coming (see the “What you\u00a0may not realize” section on the About Identity Theft page to get a better idea as to\u00a0why) . But come it will, and through iDovos we continue to work toward the goal of\u00a0providing to the consumer a proactive means of protecting vital identity information.<\/p>\n

We firmly believe that the power and responsibility of identity\u00a0asset control should be concentrated into the hands of the\u00a0individual, not second-party transactors or third-party monitoring\u00a0services; after all, it is we as individuals who stand to lose the\u00a0most if our identities are compromised, so why shouldn’t we be\u00a0able to assume control over our own identity assets?
